Open-access Temporary cortical blindness following cerebral angiography: report of a case

    A case of temporary cortical blindness following cerebral angiography is presented and discussed. The etiology of this rare complication is not completly understood. Problably the blindness is secondary to the direct effect of the contrast medium in the blood-brain-barrier in the striate cortex.
