A case of myelitic syndrome caused by histoplasmosis is reported. The patient had a acute paraparesis with impairment of all types of sensibility at T11-T12 level, with lost of sphincters control. The laminectomy revelead meningeal thickness and granulomatosis, microscopically identified as H. capsu-latum. Intratecal and parenteral therapeutic with anphotericin B, gave poor results.
