Open-access Variations in the chemical composition of seeds of three cultivars of soybeans during storage

    Chemical analyses were made on seeds of cultivars Santa-Rosa, IAC-1 and UFV-1 which were stored for 12 months under normal storage conditions. The percentage of ether extract and total sugar increased with time of storage, whereas, the percentage of polysaccharides, seed germination and vigor decreased.
