The author presents the results of some experiments dealing with the budding of the rubber tree. The best results were obtained when; a) making the bud-panel incisions all at one time (in 15-20 stocks) so that the latex which exuded had time enough to dry up avoiding contamination of the cambium of the stock; 6) the budding was done after 12.00 o'clock; c) after wrapping the stock and bud-patch together with paraffin-soaked strips of cotton cloth, the "budded area" was also protected with a rubber tree leaf. Some other observations are also presented, including results of approach grafts.
