The cardan shaft transmission components, intensively used in the automotive and agricultural areas, may be subject to torsional, axial and, bending loads which can be studied in a test rig . A test frame intended to be used in static torsional tests only, was designed and built. The input torque imparted to the primary shaft by a hand leve is multiplied by two worm gear transmission boxes.and go a output one is possible to be early atained in experimental tests torques up to a maximum value of 3139 N*m (320 kgf*m), was reached with no mechanical failure detected.A probable error analysis is presented too.
