Open-access Effect of particle size of calcitic and dolomitic limestone on soil neutralization

Greenhouse experiments were carried out with wheat and corn with the purpose to study the effects of particle size of calcitic and dolomitic limestones in the neutralization of soil acidity and on crops growth. The results showed that calcitic and dolomitic limestones had the same effect on soil acidity. Particle size had little effect on yields but finer particles were more effective in the neutralization of soil acidity.
