• O modelo de gestão, com ou sem a instalação do CEO, não influenciou na distribuição das referências da atenção secundária em saúde bucal. • O RAS Sudoeste apresentou grande variação na distribuição por CS e nos coeficientes de procedimentos especializados totais e endodontia por grupo de habitantes. • Na Região Norte, as discrepâncias são menos evidentes, havendo uma correlação dos coeficientes de demanda atendida em relação às variáveis sócioeconômicas, com um maior compromisso com a integralidade e equidade. • Quanto à qualidade da referência e contrarreferência, o usuário das duas RAS realizou o tratamento especializado, retornou ao CS da ESB de origem, foi bem atendido. • Algumas razões para o não comparecimento ao tratamento não foram, mas deveriam ser, analisadas pelos gestores das RAS. |

• 1.336 (52,5%) das unidades estudadas possuem alguma equipe de saúde bucal cadastrada. • 2469 (96,9%) das unidades estudadas não é CEO, 24 (0,9%) CEO’s do tipo I, 53 (2,1%) do tipo II, e uma é do tipo III. • 71 (8,3%) municípios que apresentam CEO e (33,8%) microrregiões de saúde que não possuem nenhum CEO’s. • Municípios com CEO - 51% gestão municipal e 49% gestão dupla • (Estado/Município) e 18,3% dos municípios são pólo de macrorregião e 63,4% são pólo de microrregião. • Municípios com CEO’s - mais habitantes, mais ESB I e II, menor cobertura potencial e melhores IDH. • Maioria dos procedimentos de atenção especializada é realizada em estabelecimentos de atenção básica. • CEO’s são mais eficientes do que os não CEO’s, considerando-se a média de procedimentos realizados. |
