ABSTRACT
In this research, we focus on the use of the instrument didactic sequence of the discursive genre - complaint letter - as unifying object for the teaching of Portuguese Language. Starting from the activity genre “class” and from the teachers acting understood as mediating instrument of the teaching-learning activity, we held on the analysis of a didactic sequence module (DSM), starting from three points of view: i) the construction of a formative mediation’s scheme of the DS; ii) the activities, tasks and teaching devices one; and, finally, iii) the point of view of the mobilization of memory, adjustment and institutionalization.
