Open-access Event, Alterity and Imminence: The Path and Unfolding of a Research into the Aldir Blanc Law

Abstract

This paper discusses the main methodological, conceptual and aesthetic references that support a research that has been investigating, since 2020, the mobilizations of civil society and the political articulations that led to the Aldir Blanc Law (Federal Law nº 14,017/2020), the Aldir Blanc National Policy for the Promotion of Culture (Law 14,399/2022) and the Paulo Gustavo Law (Complementary Law nº 195/2022). The notions of imminence (Canclini, 2012), alterity (Foucault, 2011) and event (Deleuze; Guattari, 2015) are addressed. The conclusion is that the interweaving of these concepts can contribute to the understanding of the relationship between civil society and the construction of public policies, clarifying their utopian sense and the desires that drive democratic participation.
