Abstract
This article discusses the comparative studies in cinema, a field lacking systematization. Informed by the contributions of authors and distant areas - on the one hand, Walter Benjamin, on the other, astronomy - we propose our own method: the film constellations. One example of constellation is demonstrated in order to exercise this methodology of analysis which has as characteristic a great opening for the sensitivity of the researchers in the experience with images. With freedom to establish connections between dispersed parts, constellations are based on a non-linear thought which seeks to create networks between films.
