Imagination and experience in children’s theater creative process

Abstract

This article proposes a reflection about the creative process of theatrical scenes, by children, based on their imagination. This work focusses on the relationship between children’s artistic experiences in the intersection between experience and imagination in the theater creative process. It is considered, how a privileged field to look at this issue, theater’s experiences with children. To produce meanings, the experience with theater presents itself as a powerful tool to imagine and produce knowledge in the search for an effective children’s theater.
