Abstract
This review aims to discuss and present the writing entitled Memories of physical education at school: letters from teachers, by Eliana Ayoub. The presented objective is to promote reflections about physical education (PE), the body, and gestures at school, based on the narratives of student-teachers participating in the Special Training Program for Teachers in Exercise in the Municipal Organization of Municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas. As a result of the author's professor habilitation thesis, the letters that compose the book relate education processes which Ayoub experienced throughout her experiences as a teacher, researcher, and student in the PE universe, intertwined with her life experiences and the subjects present in this trajectory.
