This paper aims at demonstrating, through a critical review of current literature, the role of justice in organization/worker relationships, and the fertility of justice research for widening the understanding of some relevant organizational phenomena. Theoretical questions concerning the organizational justice dimensions are discussed, as well as their antecedents and consequences on organizational context. An integrative model on organizational justice is also examined. Finally, some critical aspects of research on justice that must be taken into account by organizational researchers are highlighted.
