Person-centered psychotherapy and the impact of the experiencing conceptThe article discusses the conceptual contributions of Eugene T. Gendlin to the development of the Person-Centered Approach theory, from Carl R. Rogers, with a special distinction to Experiencing. A brief biography of the first author is presented to the Portuguese reader as well as the developments of his Philosophy of the Implicit, a specific approach nowadays. The benefits that an experiential comprehension is able to offer to the Person-Centered Professionals are also analyzed.
