Mariana Sirimarco es doctora en Ciencias Antropológicas, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, e Investigadora Independiente, Conicet-UBA, Argentina. Sus áreas de interés son formación y socialización policial, masculinidad y mujeres policías, cuerpo y corporalidad, antropología de la emoción.
